Philips Healthcare IT Project Manager in United Kingdom - Remote Based, United Kingdom

General

Competence leadership w.r.t. Project Implementation, processes, methods and tools by:

  • Aligning with the BU and HISS clusters (bi-directionally)

  • Training/coaching project managers and team members

  • Maintaining and improving implementation methods, tools & processes

  • Arranging training for HISS teams on solutions & components applied HI Order Acquisition Process

  • Responsible for the final solution design provided to the customer.

  • Support Marketing on solution design, implementation & maintenance to improve product/solution/services portfolio & sales material.

  • Establish solid project basis with Sales and Project Manager (and customer) through timely creation of sound Statement Of Work.

  • Involve any required expertise from SD&I, BU and Suppliers to ensure quality and feasibility of solution proposed/committed to customer. HI Project Delivery Process

  • Ensure solid project fundament with Cluster Project Manager and customer through complete and quality (Pre-)PIW

  • Ensure contribution of SD&I team and BU according (agreed) plans and conform priorities agreed with business, cluster and project managers

  • Drive creation of project deliverables that enable smooth and complete transition to support at the end of the project.

  • Coordinate 3rd party suppliers and partners operationally to maximally support implementations in the HISS clusters

  • Lead in New Product Introduction projects with BU, SD&I & clusters.

  • Pro-actively monitor project progress and quality; initiate corrective actions if necessary with Cluster and/or Project managers.

  • Report to the SD&I Manager on status, progress and outlook with regards to SD&I activities, resources, solutions and processes

If managing a local project directly (e.g. in case of lack of local PM):

  • Run the project in accordance with prescribed financial budgets, technical solutions, milestones and quality, conform procedures applicable, by:

  • Creating plans for implementation & setting up controls for execution

  • Defining roles and responsibilities for project team members

  • Managing the multidisciplinary project team during the project period

  • Assuring project documentation according to processes applicable

  • Assuring scope control & configuration mgt during the project

  • Managing customer expectations & assure project acceptance

  • Initiating project invoicing and assuring proper handover to support

  • HI Customer Support Process

  • Assist Customer Care in case of complex issues requiring IC expertise

  • Implement integration CRs on live systems on request of Cust Care Product Realisation Process

  • Contribute to product definition, roadmapping and validation based on acquired market insight and field (deployment & support) experience Quality & Regulatory (Q&R)

  • Provide technical (project) related documentation according to the applicable process(es)

  • Develop and maintain projects implementation best practices in terms of processes, solutions and all supporting tools and means

  • Report customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow relevant assigned Q&R training in a timely manner

  • Contribute to 3rd party partner/supplier evaluation by Supply Chain Mgt

You are a part of a team of 7 Project Managers, reporting into the Customer Service Manager for Health Informatics Services and Solutions.

This position is home-based and will required 50% of your time to be spent travelling across the UK & Ireland. This role can be based from anywhere in the UK.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent working experience.

  • Global understanding of HW&SW architectures, HA, networking, databases, server/client solutions, HL7, DICOM

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince-2, PMI)

  • Experience in a Project Management role with clearly defined responsibilities and deadlines

  • Relevant experience in change management, preferable in defining/changing (medical) workflow in customer organisations

  • Experience in implementation and maintenance of (complex) IT solutions in an environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Healthcare IT business – essential requirement

  • Fluent in English (verbal and in writing)
