The Junior Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of the overall trade marketing strategy and plan for a portfolio of categories, including full mix of online and offline trade tools. The core objectives of the role are to drive shopper engagement, in-house share growth and development of a creative and innovative trade strategy. Experience in planning, KPI-setting and end-to-end execution of B2C trade account plans is therefore essential, as it is a proven track record of increasing both brand share and company revenue through offline and online channels.

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Being responsible for the development and delivery of the overall trade marketing strategy and plan for a portfolio of categories, including full mix of online and offline trade tools. The core objectives of the role are to drive shopper engagement, in-house share growth and development of a creative and innovative trade strategy. Experience in planning, KPI-setting and end-to-end execution of B2C trade account plans is therefore essential, as it is a proven track record of increasing both brand share and company revenue through offline and online channels.

You are responsible for:

  • Growing key categories in pure online players and traditional channels.

  • Building expertise of a channel basing the knowledge on shopper insights, market data, best practices and stock & sell-out data from retailers. Identifying biggest growth opportunities for the channel.

  • Leading the creation of trade activation plan (channel strategy) for key categories in a channels under responsibility taking into account channel specifics and tailor made approach.

  • Constant monitoring of Philips in-store position (in-store excellence) online and offline, setting improvement targets in each trade area and driving actions to close gaps.

  • Evaluating all trade activities and events in order to optimize the investment and achieve best ROI.

  • Partnering and supporting Key Account Managers in selling the concept of activities to retailers via trade argumentation (how Philips activation is growing category) and on-going contact with buyers.

Your team

The role will interact closely with the relevant Key Account Manager for the respective channels to understand business objectives and develop assets. The candidate will also be expected to work regularly with digital and BTL agencies to execute & optimize the plans, with the corporate digital and marketing teams for more specialist support in specific areas.

To succeed in this role, you should have following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in trade marketing.

  • Very strong analytical, planning and organization skills.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Fluency in English.
