Role & objective
•principal point of contact for Commercial Team and Business Marketing Managers •ensures that Market embraces/ embeds financing into M2O process/ Winning Go2Market Proposition(s)•The Customer Finance Specialist drives origination, structuring and execution of financed deals (incl. LSP/ MES)
Reporting line: reporting line to CEE Head of Solutions and Philips Capital
•pro-active lead identification and origination of financed deals•structuring and execution of financed deals•develop local financing partnership(s) with relevant local and international financing institutions•execute credit risk assessment for on balance sheet financed deals and manage the on balance sheet portfolio•training of Commercial Team and BMM’s in relation to financing tools and solutions (incl. new business development)•closely follow the development in the market and adapt, adopt and improve financing solutions where needed•close cooperation with the Center sof Expertise and share best practices & lessons learned across Markets•prepare PC reporting of Market
•financed volume sales and order intake and pen rate•delinquency rate
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Lead the development of standardized and customized financial solutions deeply embedded in Philips offering of products and services to improve people’s lives by making Philips products and solutions accessible for more people, healthcare providers, health care systems and Philips trade partners
Further grow Philips business by establishing a solid network with Philips commercial teams and our banking partners across the region
You are responsible for
Identifying, developing and implementing customer financing products, programs and solutions in close co-operation with commercial and solution team
Developing local financing partnership(s) with relevant local and international financing institutions
Managing relationship with our financing partners and identifying new partners where required
Presenting and negotiating financing solutions and agreements for various projects
Developing methodologies and tools to manage embedded financing elements in business models
Driving growth by incremental deal creation acting pro-actively and being a business partner to the commercial organization
Engaging with internal stakeholders required to drive (new) financing and service-based solutions
Executing credit risk assessment for on balance sheet financed deals and managing the on balance sheet portfolio
Training the Commercial teams, business and marketing managers in relation to financing tools and solutions
Closely cooperating with the Center of Expertise and sharing best practices & lessons learned across markets
Prepare Philips Capital reporting of CEE market
You will be
A core member of the team of highly skilled professionals on a mission to improve health care and people's lives in Central Eastern Europe and beyond by transforming the Philips business towards Solutions and Long-term Strategic Partnerships.
You will be closely working with the centers of excellence of Philips Capital in the areas of deal structuring, capital sourcing, risk management and finance & accounting teams
You will report to the Head of Solutions, Partnerships and Philips Capital Central Eastern Europe.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Post-university degree (business/finance related fields)
3-5 years’ senior experience in financial services (banking/leasing/customer financing)
Knowledge/previous exposure to the healthcare industry
Relevant experience in financial and legal due diligence (related to financing aspects) including equity type of transactions
Good understanding of financial modelling and basic statistical analysis experience
Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
Solution oriented driven, with proactive and consultative approach
Analytical mindset, able to build on business financials on different levels/types of stakeholders
Willingness to travel throughout CEE according to business needs
Fluent in English
