This position will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Team for transfer or New Products Introduction, Cost Improvement Projects, process Improvement and continuous process improvement. Performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives related goals.

You are responsible for

  • Develop Equipment specifications and execute equipment installation activities.

  • Work instruction drafting, validation protocols drafting and execution under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineer

  • Execution of testing required.

  • Execution of special assignments related to production line installation and any other activity related to the engineering department

  • Assure compliance with appropriate Environmental, Health and Safety practices.

  • Provide day-to-day tasks in support of Manufacturing Engineer or Manager.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues to determine root causes

  • Apply corrective actions to resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or PLC related issues.

  • Direct and coordinate duties for contractors.

  • Support and adhere to facility and security procedures/protocols.

  • Respond to daily work requests within thirty (30) minutes or less to support production equipment operations adjustments, support validation or calibration jobs, etc. with prompt customer service.

  • Move items within clean room and workshop.

  • Support Manufacturing Engineer or Manager with senior management reporting and various facility operational requirements

  • Execute preventive maintenance of production equipment.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 1-3 years related experience medical devices or electronic Industrial.

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes in medical field.

  • Computer skills such: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Medical Products transfer knowledge is a plus.

  • Basic engineering education required is a plus.

  • Medium to Advanced English level is a plus.

  • Experience with Vision Systems and Automation Replace motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, sprockets, air lines, hydraulic hoses, solenoids, cylinders, PLC cards etc, is a plus
