In this role, you have the opportunity to
Start-Up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoplastic and LSR injection molding production equipment and processes to complete work orders. Position requires higher levels of plastic and silicone transformation technical skill sets and abilities to perform specialized manufacturing processes, including fairly advanced practices, procedures, concepts, or principles. Consistently apply Lean tools and techniques to identify and solve operational problems and measurably improve processes.
You are responsible for
Operate thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines, all auxiliary equipment, and processes in order to produce molded finished goods.Assist in moldsetup, mold validation activities, and troubleshooting ofmolding equipment to keep molding injection processes running.Train other Molding Operators on production-related processes.
Control inventory levels by completing transmissions on rawmaterials/finished goods as they are produced/consumed. Routine cleaning of machinery, tooling and general housekeeping/6S work areas.
Perform minor calibrations on equipment.
Participate in the identification and elimination of waste within the production area. Prepare and actively use A3 and Problem Solving to implement improvements.
Complete maintenance work requests and work towards cost reduction goals.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
High school 9thdegree
Injection molding transformation certification.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of molding injection experience.
Able to operate injection molding machines
Knowledge of all auxiliary and secondary process equipment required to run an injection molding machine (Drying Equipment, Hot Runners, Thermarator’s, etc)
Knowledge and use of scientific molding practices
Knowledge and experience in medical device validation processes (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Silicone Injection Molding experience is desirable but not required
Good at English reading, writing and speaking is desirable but not required
