In this role, you have the opportunity to be the "Right hand" to the Vice President or The Connected Care Solutions Delivery North America, providing bandwidth and depth of insight. You will oversee the financial and business management of the Service Operations for the MA & TC Modalities.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Employs financial insights and business acumen to influence business strategy; Is dedicated in engaging business management to achieve financial and business goals.
Advises on opportunities to accelerate financial performance (growth, cost reduction, asset utilization, etc); influences decision making on the portfolio; identifies and assesses new business opportunities.
People/team management: Model of Leadership competencies and Finance values/ways of working; Builds high performing teams; attracts, retains, develops and provides opportunities for staff to gain critical experiences to the benefit of Global finance and the Finance employee base
Drives the financial forecast and will articulate and defend it in reviews; financial planning activities (SR, AOP, RoFo) in the entity; Drives achievement of cost reduction strategies for the organization
Advises on and supports decision making throughout the BU organization.
Initiates and leads change with senior management; Actively leads (change agent role) senior entity management (GM, functional leads) on key decisions impacting financial performance
Directly communicates with stakeholders to articulate business performance; articulates the financial performance of the entity, providing the business context, opportunities, and risks; supports the management of risk and complexity w/in the business unit (BU)
Articulates the overall direction of the planning process; ability to define the key assumptions underpinning the detailed planning; accountable for the financial forecast with the ability to articulate and defend it in reviews
Ensure financial and business controls are followed in all aspects of business operations.
Provide financial analysis to give management insight about margins, efficiency and cost structure. Recommend actions with the ultimate goal to continually improve our efficiency versus competition in the fast-changing environment.
This is a hands-on role that requires managing several tasks and projects simultaneously and shifting priorities as the demands of the business evolve.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
MBA or CPA required
15+ years of progressive Finance and Management roles
7+ years' Management experience, managing large, heavily matrixed, globally dispersed teams. Demonstrated focus on coaching, talent development, and continuous learning through hiring, development and timely performance feedback
Provides direction to the organization, exercises power to influence decisions and obtain resources and represents the organization on critical strategic issues.
Proven depth of business knowledge and strong general business insight; Astute Financial analytics used to draw key conclusion, to provides insights and knowledge to make financial decisions and engage non-finance management in steering the business
Proven ability to make judgments, the flexibility to change with dynamic situations and the creativity to overcome problems with solutions.
Strong Technical Accounting Knowledge. Ongoing awareness of changes external to the department and translates these into related changes, processes, and practices
Strong Visual Analysis and Representation Skills. The ability to translate data into a visible form that highlights important features including commonalities and anomalies. The visual representations make it easy for users to perceive the salient aspects of their data quickly.
Ability to marry financial constructs with business knowledge, to partner with general and functional management to drive financially-sound business decisions
Models understanding of Philips ways of working/values, cultural expectations/norms; Models cross-cultural relationship management
Political acumen; recognizes organizational and business differences and works to effect alignments
Change agent; Initiates and leads Finance staff/teams and stakeholders to or through change. Adept at the implementation of change through effective communication and leadership techniques
Will have the ability to push back without breaking relationships; as well as, assess and prioritize various partner interests.
Ability to see synergies/alliances and opportunities across a broad business portfolio and to then break this into a manageable plan for execution.
High motivation and organizational skills. The individual will help to steer the organization toward its objectives and persevere even when challenges arise. Additionally, several activities will be balanced simultaneously and re-prioritized as the demands of the business evolve.
You will report to the Head of Finance – Monitoring & Analytics and will be based in Alpharetta, GA.
