Take the Communications Design for the Male Grooming business to the next level. Today, Philips continues to be at the forefront of personalization across a broad male grooming portfolio including, shavers, beard trimmers, hair clippers and OneBlade, our latest revolutionary technology designed to trim, edge, and shave any length of hair.
You are responsible for
Understanding and applying broader business and market context, able to synthesize different perspectives and support reframing the communications design challenge.
Inspiring the design and business team with creative concepts, storytelling and your presentation style.
Driving solution creation within a cross-competence project team, thinking holistically in platforms and eco-systems.
Teaming up and independently working on projects of average complexity with deep understanding of the project manager budget and time constraints. While driving efficiency and holding project level design quality reviews with their leading creative daily report.
Working together with or consulting business stakeholders, actively collaborating and cultivating relationships and challenging the status quo to drive innovation and step-up for the user.
Effectively guiding internal and external resources on project basis.
You are part of
Philips Design, established in 1925, and one of the longest-established design organizations in the world. It has studios across the globe – in Amsterdam, Bangalore, Cambridge (US), Eindhoven, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Shanghai and Singapore – and a creative force of 450 professionals. We create the future identity for the portfolio and execute this through projects, guidelines and final design specifications. You will join the Communication Design community, which consists of about 35 people and you will report to the Design Director for Communication Design. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Design Research or equivalent with minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience in concept ideation, design strategy, art direction and production across multiple brand touchpoints, video creation, photoshoot and digital touch point experience a plus.
You are creatively hands’ on and can work independently and within a greater team from concept to execution.
Experience working with designers from different backgrounds.
You have strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills.
Fluency across a variety of visual media including mastery of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and PowerPoint. Additional skills in Sketch, After Effects, or digital prototyping tools are a bonus.
