In this role, you have the opportunity to
Actively support and drive the Connected Care agenda in International Markets. As the key liaison with the International Markets, you will enable successful Business Market Combinations (BMCs). You will champion the needs of the markets in Cluster, Businesses and Category priorities and activities. You will provide a dedicated and tight linkage strengthening communication and strategy execution between Cluster/Business/Category and the Market teams and customers resulting in stronger, more reliable and consistent execution, quicker decision-making and more alignment. You will actively support order intake, sales and market share gain objectives.
You will help articulate and evangelize a compelling story as to Philips’ value proposition and capabilities in the several Connected Care businesses and it’s overarching solution propositions. You will ensure the vision is understood and inspiring in Sales Force/Customers. You will grow confidence in the product and solutions in the market and contribute to a positive improvement culture in the Businesses, Categories and Markets. You will orchestrate cross-functional resources across the business and market to successfully close and deliver outstanding customer experience. You will be responsible for helping the business achieve the P&L and growing the top and bottom line enthusiastically by making the right trade-offs and choices.
You will collect, analyze and integrate market information with regard to long term market and technology developments with the mission and objectives of the business group and global product strategies. You will drive roadmap alignment within and across segments. You will ensure voice of the customer gets fed back to the Businesses (across Service and segments) and customer engagement/NPS.
Leading a complex matrix of objectives/capabilities/channels/needs. Given the complexity of the market structures and the variety of Business Market Managers in place in the markets, this role requires ability to lead even more complex matrix relationships effectively.
Focus on execution/hot spots: Several markets/businesses continue to face challenges and strong leadership skills is needed to aim to meet AOP targets with the right set of enablers that will close the gap between targets and forecasts.
Strong Marketing Functional and commercial expertise: thought leadership is needed at the Cluster leadership team and with the Markets. The P&BD manager should be a steward of this in the business, ensuring the right level of marketing, commercial and pricing capabilities exist in the team, and more broadly across the Cluster
As the role sits between the Cluster and the Markets you will have a dual reporting line to both the Connected Care Cluster Leader and the HS Performance and Business Development Leader of International Markets. Your solid reporting line will be in International Markets. You will be part of the Connected Care extended management team and together with the NA and China BMS represent the voice of the customer in this team.
You are responsible for
Act as interface advocate with Businesses for the Markets and vice versa to enable smooth functioning of the BMC and performance against plan
Driving performance in the Connected Care BMC’s of Int. Markets. Deliver on AOP commitments.
Being the voice of the customer in the CC MT
Making sure markets are set up for success with the CC NPI’s and Solutions in the market. Be the gatekeeper for key NPI’s on behalf of International Markets.
Support Markets with knowledge, resources etc. needed to support sales, including aligning Cluster/Business and Market priorities to deliver against the highest impact opportunities
Support strategic improvements in GTM model (incl. channel development, pricing and selection)
Ensure market insights are fed back to product management/development
Driving cross business growth initiatives
CC Market share growth among targeted segments in chosen BMC’s
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
Min. 15+ years of international commercial experience
Work experience in multinational environment in both Business and Markets.
Strong informatics and ICT background in international environment.
Broad expertise across the sales & marketing functions including market insights, value proposition generation, pricing, communications, channel management and planning
Experience leading transformation and driving continuous improvement by applying LEAN methodology/tools
Deep knowledge of the CC portfolio and customer needs
Consistent track record in getting things done and delivering strong results
Excellent relationship development and collaboration skills, with demonstrated track record of cross-functional collaboration
Leadership – experience successfully driving the performance and engagement of senior teams while developing talent capability.
Strong personal communication skills, be able to inspire, convince and mobilize people especially in non-hierarchical settings
Ability to assess creative ideas on potential value
University level with Business specialization
