To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Finance with preferably 8+ years of progressive working experience/roles

  • Proven ability to marry financial constructs with business knowledge and to work effectively with finance BPs as well as with general management and functional teams

  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and translate this into concrete actions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and internal customer expectations effectively, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; and can work with virtual teams

  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP BPC/BCS preferred) and visualization.

  • Ability and experience to develop new reporting, analysis and planning processes and solutions within a diverse tool landscape.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, analytics self-driven, entrepreneurial/start up attitude

  • Ability to recognize organizational and business differences and work to effect alignments

  • Collaborates effectively with other FP&A CoEs and within the Commercial CoE. Initiate and lead analysis or process improvement projects as needed x-CoEs /Business/Market/Functions as well as end-to-end stakeholders, and ensures effectiveness and efficiency of the processes

You are responsible for

Working proactively together with the BP of International Markets on planning and performance management. Enable decision making, by 1) providing in-depth understanding of the business by translating variances into key value drivers and business insights, 2) Using strategic initiatives and macroeconomics into effective planning and 3) keep challenging plans by an outside-in view. The insights will be integral in shaping business strategy and driving the planning process and performance within Philips. You will be expected to deliver meaningful, accurate and timely analysis on business performance, and enable the stakeholders to take solid, fact-based decisions.

You will support International Markets Leadership in:

  • Coordination and preparation of AOP (budget), Strategic Plan and FC target setting for International Markets

  • Preparation and participating in monthly performance reviews of individual International Markets

  • Monitor current business performance and drive corrective actions in order to achieve group financial ambitions

  • Facilitation and preparation of International Markets performance review and financial deliverables

  • Lead Daily Management of FP&A International Markets, point-of-contact for team leads in the Hub around deliverables and processes

  • Continuous improvement of existing processes and reporting for Markets and BP of International Market

  • Leading as needed value-add initiatives within International Markets (with eye for quality, standardization across all markets and efficiency/scalability). Drive best practice sharing

  • Is responsible for transparency around risks and opportunities, supports mitigation actions/problem solving issues

  • Represent International Markets in functional initiatives aiming at enhancing planning cycles and performance management. Change agent with regards to deployment within the markets in scope on funded/prioritized projects

  • Ad-hoc support

  • for BP of International Markets
