This role is crucial to achieving the BCDE objective of collaborating with Clusters, Markets and the Sales community to enable the creation of consistent, efficient, and effective events@scale to deliver the Global Events Strategy in line with the BMC planning process and Customer Decision Journey (CDJ).
You are responsible for:
Building the integrated Marketing Plan for Global Events
A&P/ Zero Based Budgeting with Markets and Clusters
Driving the Global Events Strategy and gaining alignment with overall BCD strategy to create a common customer experience across all markets and ensure effective utilization of global resources and infrastructure to deliver efficiencies and cost savings
Pre- during-post event campaign and implementation planning across the CDJ
Go/ no go decision making framework
Ensuring global EMT adherence, specifically ROI/KPI management metrics are effective to enable better visibility and decision-making
Liaison Internal (BCD etc.), Market and Clusters
Understanding ongoing event support requirements in Clusters and Markets. Feeding these requirements into the global Events team to secure the necessary resources and develop programs.
Deploying consistent criteria and adherence process to effectively manage tradeshow, internal, proprietary event and potential CVC investment decisions, share best practices and reduce costs (Governance)
Providing Brand Steerco, Market and Cluster call input related to your objectives
Reviewing the markets effectiveness at following up leads and converting event MQL/SQL opportunity to sales (follow up on Kaizen), partnering with Digital to implement corrective actions
Knowledge and experience
Bacherlor's/Masters degree, preferably business
8-10 years of experience in Marketing, planning campaigns, Events & processes across a complex organization, countries and cultures.
Experience communicating with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups and in large, complex, corporate environment.
Fluency in English as well as additional languages
Ideally experience working within local Markets.
Strong Business acumen.
Experience in Healthcare or Technology B2B, B2C Events.
Event Vendor/Agency management experience required.
Project management and organization skills and ability to lead internal and external resources.
Practice in developing plans to measure and evaluate event success.
