As HR Business Partner of Philips Procurement you are accountable:

  • to build and maintain a capable and effective global Procurement function which delivers maximum possible impact.

  • Philips Procurement impacts half of the total revenue of Philips. With that building the right competences for the future, is essential to deliver products and services which are competitive and of high quality.

  • As HR Business partner, you will deliver Strategic HR advice which improves the quality of business decisions and drives business value.

  • You proactively shape and effectuate transformations needed, building new organizational capabilities, leadership strength and an inclusive culture.

  • You team up with the Procurement leaders to provide thoughtful and relevant HR services/solutions based on a deep understanding of the function.

  • They are responsible for translating strategic business objectives into an effective people plan for the function.

  • Philips Procurement and Supplier Quality is a global organization with over 1200 professionals and is a key part of the Philips Integrated Supply Chain organization.

Key areas of Responsibility

  • Develop and implement the People Strategy to support the Procurement function as part of the Integrated Supply Chain

  • Uses diagnostics skills, business acumen and customer relations to identify, articulate and deliver value proposition at the senior management level

  • Partner with, consult with and influence the functional area on HR needs to enable delivery of business targets

  • Coordinate capability development and workforce planning

  • Drive the people elements of transformation and change

  • Consult with the CoEs to meet the particular needs of the function and act as an effective steward of the HR Operating Model

  • Lead culture and change management and support the transformation across the company to become in line with Philips Business System (the Philips operational model).

Required Competences

  • Business acumen (broad understanding of business aspects, critical capabilities, can translate needs of the business into clear HR deliverables)

  • Strategic Talent Management (Strong people insights and ability to build a strong talent bench; career counseling; building great teams)

  • People Insights and EQ (Communication Skills, Contracting skills, ability to emotionally connect; to deal with conflict, ability to push back when needed, coach and
