Philips Internship: Marketing and Communication for Kitchen Appliances and Coffee in Amsterdam, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to

As the Kitchen Appliances and Coffee Creation Intern, you will be assisting in the creation and production of campaigns and marketing communication assets. You will be reporting to the Creation Manager for Kitchen Appliances and Coffee and your home basis will be Amsterdam

You are responsible for

  • Creating new Integrated Communication toolkits and toolkit updates

  • Supporting Campaign creation from inception of the creative idea to the execution

  • Supporting the creation of Shopper Marketing material

  • Supporting in bringing the new product derivatives to markets, rolling-out current range to new markets and assist in marketing activities

  • Supporting in asset production and localization

  • Supporting Marketing Campaigns and work on business analysis

  • Assisting in the organization of events and assets

  • Aligning with the Content management to ensure that all content is included in the asset library after creation

  • During this internship, you will be exposed to all the facets of product creation and global marketing management

  • After the start-up phase, you need to be able to independently drive (sub)projects and be assertive and pro-active to bring in excellent results

You are a part of

You will be part of the Personal Health (PH) Central Marketing team (dedicated to Kitchen Appliances and coffee) and will be based out of Amsterdam. Your cross-functional stakeholders would include Asset Producers, Web Managers, Portfolio marketing leaders, Consumer Marketing managers, Digital Marketers, Digital Analytics/Market Intelligence professionals, Real-Time Marketing team and External Advertising and creative agencies.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards a Master’s degree in e.g. Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, Management or related field

  • An original thinker who combines a healthy dose of creativity with analytical capabilities

  • Good project management and communication skills

  • A team player and self-starter

  • Should have great attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Able to keep notes in important meetings

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office – especially creating PowerPoint presentations and performing basic analysis in Excel

  • Fluency in English

  • Previous experience in Marketing is preferred
