Philips Internship: Procurement Management, Marketing, Media and Events in Amsterdam, Netherlands


Starting Date: July

Duration: 6-12 months

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work in a professional procurement organization and learn the profession of Procurement for Marketing commodities.

You are responsible for

  • Build relationship, negotiate and achieve savings for assigned suppliers

  • Support savings reporting, contracting process and data management of the supply base

  • Cooperate with stakeholders and multi-functional team on assigned projects

You are a part of

This role is part of the Philips IMS Procurement organization. This organization is responsible for all procurement activities related to Indirect Materials and Services.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Candidates currently studying towards their bachelor/masters (both Applied Sciences as Universities) in one of the following fields: Finance, Marketing, Business Administration

  • Very good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Power Point)

  • Result-oriented and Hands-on driven in order to achieve goals

  • Accurate and strive for quality

  • Clear communication skills

  • Project oriented working

  • Fact-based and objective

  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
