In this role, you have the opportunity to
drive the performance improvement and foster honest dialogues between managers and professionals, switching between different roles. Therefore, you will act as a guide, coach, analyst, trainer or change manager, depending on the question. In all situations we as lean experts challenge and lead by example.
You are responsible for
teaming up with the leadership of Philips Finance and be the driving force behind the Lean agenda. You deliver on the culture change and training needed for the Continuous Improvement Lean Curriculum and culture. The Lean Expert will constantly challenge the status quo and be the role model for End2End Lean Thinking.
Train and coach Lean Experts, Experts, Advanced and Foundation Level using A3 Thinking
Facilitate further role out of Hoshin planning
Mentor teams in rolling out daily management
Engage with and represent the Deployment Sites in the Continuous Improvement (CI) Team throughout the Finance Function
Further refine the deployment approach and plan for Lean within Finance
Capture, document and share best practice, transferring knowledge across deployment sites and cross sector
Build and maintain a continuous improvement network in Finance and with the broader Philips Excellence network to ensure deep knowledge and interactivity
You are a part of
the Lean Team that is positioned within Philips Business Excellence, Group Business Transformation and provides support to the enabling functions in their transformation to a more effective and efficient organization which enables the businesses to add more value in the market place.
The team currently consists of 8 Lean Coaches, working from 5 different locations (Amsterdam and Chennai). Being part of the Lean team means to work together with authentic, enthusiastic, open and driven colleagues, striving to get sustainable impact. Besides, we constantly reflect on our way of working to continuously improve.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelors or Master’s degree
Black Belt certified and have at least 5 years experience within in Lean
Have a passion for Lean and Continuous Improvement
Dare to think outside of the box in making improving performance fun
Have the ability to inspire and enthuse others
Believe in the power of vulnerability
Have self-reflection and the willingness to constantly learn is in your DNA
Easily connect to others at multiple levels of the organization, from Team Members on the Shop-floor to Senior Managers
Like to work in a challenging, constantly changing international environment.
Dependent upon assignment you travel up to 50%, mainly within the assigned region, but also globally (e.g. India)
