In this role, you have the opportunity to
Act as an end-to-end business process expert within the Supplier Quality Assurance team. The team spans all businesses and markets across Philips, and includes processes related to purchasing controls. In this role, you will play a key role in the Product Risk Assessment process of parts purchased by the Market organization that require compatibility and risk evaluation. This process is key for supporting the Philips initiative of delivering solutions to our customers.
You are responsible for
Being a Philips Business Process Expert in the area of Supplier Quality, responsible for designing, implementing and driving deployment and continuous improvements of the standardized Product Risk Assessment process
Ensuring adoption of the process in a compliant manner
Development and maintenance of the Project Plan to ensure deployment and adoption of the process across the businesses and markets
Assembling and coordinating global cross-functional groups, which consist of Business Process Experts (BPEs), Subject Matter Experts and users
Capturing learning and actively sharing success within your network
Actively seeking input to ensure best practices are utilized and implemented
Working closely together with other BPEs and supporting Philips excellence representatives to align content deliverables such as Training material, Change Materials, job descriptions, performance mechanisms, and work instructions within project timelines
Working closely with Philips Business Units (factories) & Market Organization and Philips Supplier Quality
You are a part of
The Philips Supplier Quality Assurance – Process team, a small global Supplier Quality team, developing and supporting deployment of Philips purchasing control processes. You will be in charge of the Product Risk Assessment Process, which is defining purchasing control requirements and assuring compatibility of our solutions.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a changing and fast-paced environment
Medical device industry experience, including working knowledge of medical device regulations (ISO 13485, EU MDR, 21 CFR820, ISO 14971, etc.)
Purchasing controls experience, with a background in product lifecycle management
Relevant experience in designing and deploying processes and systems across a variety of Business Models
Project management certification
Experience in process management
Additional continuous improvement experience (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) desired
Fluent in both written and verbal English
