In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Play a critical role as part of a well-seasoned, winning team that performs EMC testing for various medical product lines within Philips Andover and North America. The ASRC team plays a very important role in ensuring products designed by Philips are of the highest quality and meet all applicable international standards.
You are responsible for:
Generation of EMC Engineering- compliance documents under guidance of senior members of the group.
Responsible for test software maintenance and validation, integrating new equipment as needed and troubleshooting test configurations issues as needed.
May also provide EMC engineering support to assist organizational units in addressing EMC compliance concerns during early design phases.
Key contributor in the product development process to ensure EMC compliance with agency approvals.
Schedule EMC-engineering services to all Philips internal customers including EMC compliance testing, test planning and problem solving.
Develop detailed EMC test plans to ensure that appropriate EMC testing and sample test size is utilized to satisfy medical device testing requirements.
Excellent understanding of EMC compliance test standard IEC 60601-1-2 (including supporting standards) and their application.

The ASRC Group at Philips Healthcare in Andover, MA is an experienced team that provides product reliability testing services and expertize for all medical product lines within Philips Andover. The reliability engineering team plays a very important role in ensuring products designed by Philips are of the highest quality and comply with national and international standards requirements.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Minimum BSEE /MSEE (or equivalent engineering degrees)
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in EMC compliance testing of complex electrical/mechanical, regulated products .
Demonstrated ability to program and troubleshoot EMC test software, which supports automated testing, and report generation for all EMC compliance testing.
Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate, interact and influence effectively at technical levels across functions.
Demonstrated success in leading change for product quality.
Highly passionate and positive infectious attitude who strives for high performance and product quality.
A candidate should be hands on and have desire to work in an R&D laboratory environment. Possess a high-level of self-motivation and ability to work on a team. Ability to effectively manage time, organize and prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments is necessary. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills expected.
Develops and implements EMC plans for new product development to ensure EMC product compliance.
Proficient in standard office computer tools: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
