In this role, you have the opportunity to
Prepare and lead the post-merger IT integration activities for acquisitions or Joint Ventures to ensure a smooth transition into Royal Philips, ensuring value creation and business objectives.
The Senior IT Business Engagement Manager M&A is the primary focal point for IT towards the deal team and integration team.
You are responsible for
Deal, Pre Close:
Participate in the deal team of an M&A project with respect to the integration part of the project. Partner with and challenge the team in IT integration principles and standards to define and deliver post-merger integration strategy Ensure the support of IT partners to aid with integration strategy as required .
Merger and / or Acquisition, Post Close:
Partner with the Business Integration Manager and NVI Program manager to lead the integration process and leverage the Philips organization Setup and Lead the IT integration process. Phase in the IT domain experts, like Applications (I2M, M2O, O2C and Enabling), Infrastructure, Contracts & Licenses, Information Security and Masterdata, to maximize value creation. Monitor quality, progress and financial performance of Integration projects and take all necessary corrective actions to ensure targets are met. Responsible for the after care of the IT integrations and identification of additional value creation opportunities and cost optimizations. Act as an intermediary between the IT domain Experts and the acquired business. Drive continuous improvement; lead the activities aimed at delivering continuous improvement across the projects Contribute to the (IT) M&A organization by sharing experiences, best practices and lessons learned.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Overall business experience of 5-7 years
Hands-on experience in different IT program roles
Successfully lead multiple projects (2-3) in varying stages at the same time
Successfully manage cross functional teams, often located across the globe
Experience in a post-merger integration is a preferred
Worked successfully within differing business cultures;
Required knowledge and capabilities:
Strong business insight
Project Management and Six Sigma experience / certification a plus
Lean experience /certification a plus
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communications and social skills
Soft skills / leadership competencies:
Personal presence and awareness;
Empathy and a sense for cultural differences and how to bridge them
High level of integrity
Ability to prioritize work based upon changing demands; solid sense for operational priorities
Ability to make decisions within uncertainty
Work both independently and in remote project team setting and have a willingness to share knowledge
