In this role, you have the opportunity to
work side by side with a talented cross functional team responsible for designing and developing the future Patient Care Analytics (PCA) products. The PCA products are intended to save lives, improve outcomes and reduce clinical staff burden in a critical care setting thru insightful analytics, tight integration and ease of use.

The PCA Senior Product Owner is responsible for understanding the vision as defined by the Product Manager and translating that vision into activities that can be consumed and delivered by a cross functional team. We are looking for a proven Product Owner who can clearly communicate the customer journey, break the customer journey down into features, epics, and user stories and collaborate closely with the delivery team to prioritize and deliver products that delight our customers.
Additional responsibilities will also include;
Interpreting high level product requirements and Create Epics, Features, User Stories and product backlog items from those requirements.
Write System Requirement Specifications, using the higher level product marketing requirements as a guide.
Conduct analysis work to understand and fine-tune user and system requirements
Creating acceptance criteria for features and user stories.
Prioritizing the work/backlog to satisfy delivery milestones.
Leading the backlog refinement process/meetings.
Providing a clear description and outline of product features for easy comprehension by the development team.
Managing product backlog and backlog visibility in order to prioritize user stories for implementation.
Creating & maintaining status reports (e.g. Burndown charts, Kanban).
Working closely with scrum teams to provide needed information on features & user stories.
Serving as an integral role in organizing and running the Program Increment Pipe Event (PIPE) meetings.
Ensuring that all scrum teams have everything they need to size, accept and execute on work.
Assist in preparing sprint demos.
Attending sprint planning and demo meetings to provide feedback on sprint achievement.
Collaborate with scrum masters to organize sprint review meetings.
Serving as a liaison with management and stakeholders by providing regular updates on product development operations.
Assist in defining ‘Definition of Done’ and ‘Ready’ criteria.

This role will initially be based in our Andover office. Philips will be relocating this office to a new site at Cambridge Crossing , a large development underway on the Cambridge-Somerville-Boston line. This is a very exciting time to be joining Philips, as this new location will be our largest North American R&D innovation center. The new office is set to open in early 2020.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related technical discipline
3+ years as a Product Owner within an agile environment
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
Deep understanding of the software development process with. Having a hands on software development background is a plus.
SAFe Product Owner certified preferred
Experience using Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for Agile tooling
Experience in medical software preferred.
