Philips Strategic Director of Centralized Quoting in Andover, Massachusetts

The Centralized Quoting role requires a leader who develops a strategic operating model on how we bring complex deals and solutions to our customers; this role will be charged with leading Large Scale Projects for quoting PM, iXR and MR for Commercial Operations, directing client targeting, overseeing all quoting responses within targeted orders support. Using advanced consultative sales techniques, industry knowledge and business acumen, the Director of Centralized Quoting will be expected to conduct virtual meetings and presentations with the direct sales teams during the sales process.

As a director, one is responsible for development and growth of a client base through strategic solution activities, thought leadership in the Configure Price Quoting space, knowledge sharing and development of our Strategy Solution Practice. The Director will provide oversight of engagements and delivery of quoting services. The Director will carry objectives within North America’s Healthcare E2E Systems business model vertical. In this role you will also be actively networking and developing relationships within the BIU, Marketing, Sales Support Center, Project Management, etc., understanding our core business drivers and needs, identifying potential opportunities where the Centralize Quoting can provide value.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Lead the centralized quoting team for the North America HealthTech market

  • Serve as main point of contact for NAM as it relates to release and development of catalog and quoting for Patient Monitoring, iXR and MR.

  • Ensure that Salesforce.com is the system of record and kept up-to-date for quoting management. Proactively participate in/and or support new business opportunities to influence the direction of the solution.

  • Ensure delivery of field adoption, configuration accuracy and reduction of change orders.

  • Establish the way forward as we work in and E2E way across the customer value chain.

  • Ensure global and NAM stakeholder buy-in, change management, governance, and sponsorship across the M20, EIM and O2C domains and landscape.

  • Responsible for development and implementation of tools and resources to assist quoting and catalog for NAM

  • Participate in on-site and virtual provider strategy consulting engagements and / or execute specific consulting engagements in billable capacity, meetings, workforce assessments and presentations to clients during the sales process

  • Execute strategic and operational plans to drive greater operational efficiencies and performance period-over period

  • Responsible for developing standards for catalog master data for NAM PH processes.

  • Write and refine presentations and proposals, and execute all contract negotiations – scope includes work documents, contracts, pricing and addendums.

Skills/ Experience:

10+ years of leadership experience with proven track record in successfully implementing and deploying global processes, providing pricing solutions to our customer and field sales organization.

  • 15 years of combined experience in Operations, Marketing, or Sales

  • Proven leadership experiencing managing teams in multiple locations, with varying skill levels

  • Experience working within the Medical Device or related High Tech Industry

  • In Depth understanding of Catalog Operations Solution Selling and Master Data Strategies

  • Understanding of quoting and catalogue processes from Market-to Order

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to quickly build relationships and demonstrate effective influencing skills

  • Influence and partner at the executive level across multiple domains

  • Ability to drive strategic level results and measurable value creation tied to a performance based standard work platform
