You are responsible for
IT products/applications- network (both wired and wireless), infrastructure- and interoperability solutions in the environment of patient monitoring systems.
Developing and implementing the product technical support strategy and control the product support process
Contributing to the product design process to ensure its supportability and is responsible for the provision of training and back-up technical support
Provide support for related products/solutions in diagnosing, troubleshooting systems, specifically lowering the cost of ownership and increase customer satisfaction
Consult with others on technical issues and field escalations to solve them and create field communications
Understanding of the world-wide field organization including the multiple field roles and tasks that each perform
Actively participate and represent the customer support on project cross functional team(s)

Product Support Engineering.Philips Medizin Systeme Böblingen with its 800 employees develops and produces patient monitoring systems for a worldwide market. Our solutions are used in emergency and intensive care, pregnancy and neonatal monitoring, as well as in the OR, for anaesthesia and in the General Ward. With several hundred thousand monitors installed worldwide, Philips is market leader in this area.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent with IT background
Experience in the install, maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting Windows Server solutions
Interpersonal skills with global teams and customers
Willingness for moderately frequent international travel
Fluent in English and German
Infrastructure and interfacing knowledge (Virtualization, Databases, Medical Protocols)
Experience in healthcare environment
Technical knowledge in wired network implementations and troubleshooting
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Customer facing support experience
