In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be challenged as a Front End Developer solving real world healthcare challenges in our Radiology Solutions business unit. As Philips creates new opportunities out of the ongoing healthcare transformation, you will be responsible for developing the front-end on our software considering all aspects of UX design.
You are responsible for
Designing new technologies, platforms and integration with third party products
Identifying software solutions that meet customer needs
Making strategic design and user experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
Developing rapid prototypes to support agile development method
Implementing UX concepts into the product
You are part of
The Performance Solutions team located in Baltimore, MD. We empower hospitals with a flexible suite of services to support continuous improvement, providing a path to help find and maximize opportunities to do more with less while maintaining a focus on patient care.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
3+ years of professional experience in software development
Strong experience in User Interface/Front-End development
Production level experience using React is required
Ability to work with customers to understand detailed requirements and design user experiences that meet client needs and vision
Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology
Solution driven mindset
A passion for user experience and front-end architecture
Preferred skills and experience
Experience coding in Ruby, Rails or Elixir highly desired
Experience in healthcare, especially radiology
