Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:

  • Owns architectural and technical responsibility for respective assigned areas in DI NxGen Host

  • Responsible for product quality within the context of assigned responsibilities.

  • Be the owner of high quality delivery of requirements, design, and code – ensures that all code quality objectives have been met

  • Provides valuable inputs to the architecture and technology roadmap

  • Analyzes and understands Software/Functional and non-Functional Requirements Specification

  • Authors and reviews detailed design documents

  • Responsible for design, realization and test of a system, subsystem and component

  • Implements and supports project team to implement code based on design specifications to meet functional specifications

  • Determines, communicates and manages all external and internal interfaces in co-operation with all relevant stakeholders

  • Interfaces with various stakeholders for requirements understanding, architecture clarifications and so on. Be the main contact point for all technical queries for the team

  • Be a critical reviewer of design, code and test specification developed by the project team

  • Participates actively in project estimation, planning and risk management activities

  • Identifies and escalates risks on time, identifies and manages technical and safety risks.

  • Ensures compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements

  • Participates and contributes in product and technology roadmap definition and delivery

  • Works closely with the Lead Architect / other architects to identify & answer important product/solution questions through prototypes or solutions

  • Contributes to the innovation of products, processes and procedures, technical pre-studies

  • Participates in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables

  • Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities

  • Drives technical excellence and continuous quality improvements across the team

  • Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts, and propagates it

  • Acts as a role model for other technical members in the group, guides and coaches the project team

  • Contributes to features/user stories for complex modules/SDS/architecture documents/test strategy for the key modules

  • Supports team in sprint planning by defining and estimating work-break-downs and supports in defining task specifications towards a team of engineers

Role Competency & Personal Characteristics

  • 10+ years of experience in programming, design & architecture, through all the phases of software development lifecycle

  • Exceptionally strong Object Oriented development and design

  • Strong knowledge of Advanced C# .NET, WPF, WCF, OOAD, UML, Design Patterns

  • Prior experience of healthcare (PACS, DICOM, HL7, IHE) is preferred

  • Knowledge of sound Agile Engineering Practices (TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, etc.)

  • Working experience in SAFe Agile development methodologies

  • Familiarity with global healthcare regulations and interpretation

  • Excellent knowledge of design patterns and practical applications

  • Experience in developing high performance computing applications on Windows platform

  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audience

  • Strong abstraction, analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion

  • Intrinsically motivated, excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Disciplined team worker, who can work independently and acts proactively.

  • Solid interpersonal skills, and plays extremely well within the team as well as outside the team

Experience :

  • B-Tech/B.E./M-Tech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication with 10+ years’ of experience.
