Aim of Job

HIT Solution team focuses on being the Best of Suite by providing Solutions towards integration, optimization and Innovation of workflows. The role is for designing Automation suites for E2E Workflows that enables seamless delivery for an integrated HIT Solutions

Key Areas of responsibility

  • Design and develop Automation Suites. Execute script as part of E2E testing of suite workflow.

  • Should be able to own the integration of automation tools

  • Should be able to prioritize requirements/provide inputs for automation as an integrated solution

  • Interface with stakeholders for Automation Requirements understanding, architecture clarifications across products in the Solutions Team

  • Create relevant documentation to enable any team in the Solutions to implement the automation needs using the framework

  • Provide technical support , training to team and mentor the juniors

  • Interact with team and architect for design reviews, Code Review of scripts developed by Peers

  • Develop Automation strategy based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability to support different testing types like regression, sanity, smoke and CI.

  • Participate in planning and provide work breakdown for automation activities along with estimation.

  • Foresee automation risk analysis and mitigation

  • Keep abreast of technical developments in the relevant areas through Literature research and Conference participation.

Experience & Qualifications

  • BE/Masters Degree in Computer Science/SW/Electronics/Medical - with 8+ years of experience in Testing/clinical domain

  • Experience in designing and developing various Automation Framework like hybrid, data driven, key word driven etc.

  • Experience on various automated tools like Test complete, QTP, Selenium, Coded UI, RFT etc

  • Proficient knowledge in C#, Java.

  • Experience in automating various application types like Windows, Web, Data Bases, Web Services and API Testing

  • Implementation experience in object oriented concepts like Threading, Interface, Inheritance and abstraction.

  • Need to resolve technical queries in Test automation team and Guidance \ mentoring to multiple test automation projects

  • Good verbal and communication skills

  • Experience in MS test Unit test framework or Nunit Test framework

  • Experience in reporting formats like HTML, xml, Excel, Database etc.

  • Hands on experience in using Design patterns and architectures.

  • Good exposure to test automation estimation, requirements gathering, prioritizing, risk planning, status reporting and tracking.

  • Hands on experience in distributed testing/Non Functional Automation.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
