Back in the Game (BIG) is an internship initiative driven by the Diversity Council at Philips India. It is a 3 months paid internship program to facilitate experienced women talent transition back into the workplace after a break in their career.
This Internship opportunity is in the field of Software Development. Projects based out of Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore.
As part of Philips IT program, the role is to support planning and tracking the delivery of various releases of the assigned program. Philips IT has 18 priority programs across the winning value chains Viz. I2M, M2O, Digital and O2C.
As a Project Manager
Ensures delivery of projects, which span multiple vendors according to Philips expectations.
Determines issues (like scope creep, on-time, etc.,) in one output stream and manages contractual consequences for other vendor delivery streams
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Determines overall project risks, defines corrective actions and drives the project to closure
Ensures compliancy to Philips policies/rules/procedures
Supports the following Key Areas of Responsibilities of the Delivery Manager:
Delivers IT Solutions for a specific BG, Function or Market, based on the standard processes and methodologies defined by the Head of Transformation / Architecture / Operations from project initiation, design, configuration, integration to deployment and 3rd line support.
Accountable for Output Based Solutions Delivery, based on Agile / Scrum methodologies and in line with Architectural Principles
Accountable for project quality and FDA/ICS/ SoX compliance.
We are looking for [Skills Required]
Overall 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years in Project Management.
Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
Experience in Project Management methodologies
Excellent customer facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification would be added advantage
