Your responsibilities

The primary goal of Philips IT Delivery compliance Officer is to establish and maintain a Philips IT Delivery Compliance management program. This program should be designed to ensure that the company’s IT systems, projects and information assets are adequately protected and meet the company’s IT General Business Principles, IT Directives and IT Quality & Regulatory requirements.

The Philips IT Delivery compliance officer is the "process manager" for the Philips IT Delivery related Compliance & compliance identification & assessment activities and for its IT-dependent strategic business objectives. A crucial element of the Philips IT Delivery IT Compliance officer role is working in the Agile Delivery Center Methodology, with the Philips IT Delivery’s Delivery Managers, and other key decision makers to determine acceptable levels of residual Compliance for the IT Compliances and ensure (process) compliance to internal, external & regulatory requirements.

Key areas of responsibilities

IT Compliance Strategy & policies

  • Deploy the Philips IT Delivery’s IT compliance management program (Sox, Privacy, IT Security, Export control) to assigned portfolio in a manner that fulfils the mission and strategic goals of the Delivery Line while complying with internal, external regulations and accreditation standards.

Monitoring and Control

  • Identify and implement corrective action where appropriate(programs, projects, systems). Formulate mitigation plans which optimally balance potential impact & probability vs. mitigation effort;

  • Investigate and analyze root causes, patterns, or trends;

  • Prepare Compliance status dashboards, monitor and perform follow-up;

  • Evaluate & sign off of software validation approval (FRS, DS, IQ, OQ);

  • Evaluate and approval compliance criteria prior to go live;

Representation and Communication

  • Ensure IT Compliance Risks proper disclosure to IT Management, audit committee and relevant partners.

Compliance Competences

  • Thorough understanding of the Philips compliance domains, like Medical Device Regulation, Software validation, PCI, Privacy, Security (SAP). Very heavy factor is Sarbanes Oxley act knowledge;

  • Operational activities like acquiring, evaluating sample range to evaluate quality , accuracy is part of responsibility;

  • Ability to act as Compliance officer for important projects and monitoring of process compliance. Sign of of Software validation artefacts in SDLC is part of the job (FRS,DS, IQ

We are looking for

Our ideal candidate has

  • Master's degree in information systems, or equivalent work experience; M.B.A. or M.I.S is preferred;

  • Preferably certified as RE-Auditor, CISA, CIPP/E or CISSP or at least in-depth knowledge of these domains including Medical Device Regulation and Privacy;

  • Work experience in big 4 as IT Auditor.

  • International experience/global cultural awareness

  • A minimum of 7 years IT experience , with 5 years involved in Security Compliance & Compliancy functions,

  • experience in SAP development / project capacity;

  • A proven ability to communicate on all levels in our organization;

  • An understanding of understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies;

  • Have strong project management skills, and experience in creating and managing project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation;

Proficiency in performing Compliance, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments, and defining mitigation strategies
