Be in the lead to deliver programs and project – in an agile fashion. As Delivery Manager, you organize project teams, determine project risks, manage corrective actions and track the projects to closure. Delivery managers lead, motivate and direct the teams that are accountable for achieving delivery objectives such as effective integration of new systems and technologies. You will be accountable for meeting time and budget requirements while realizing the desired business goals for the project(s).
You will find an exciting challenge in the supervision, selection, coaching and evaluation of personnel on the project team (both internal and from partners) to ensure the efficient operation of the function fall under the purview of the manager. It is important to keep abreast of technical developments in your field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition. The IT Business Partner or a Program Manager gives you assignments. As Delivery Manager, you will draw up a schedule based on the proposals worked out by the external IT partners and Philips Architects. In the collaboration with IT Business Partner, IT Service Manager, Platform Architect and IT vendors, you agree on project proposals and manage pricing for the delivery budget.
You are responsible for
Formulating the delivery plan, in accordance with the goals and timing following the Scaled Agile framework, set by management or the ITBP or Program Manager; specifying the staffing of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used.
Controlling the delivery budget and project progress, evaluating all delivery initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.
You will be accountable for project completion within the delivery budget and program strategy, in terms of quality, money, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources.
You will act like a coach, motivate employees, and give them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally.
You will track the employees’ performance and communicate this to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal and makes proposals for training, always teaming up to excel
You will manage the performance of external IT vendors that are responsible for executing projects.
You will act as RTE in Scaled Agile programs
Experience with IT systems that support Product Life Cycle Management / Industrial product development processes
Successfully integrates across multiple technologies and systems.
Presents/coordinates solution proposals.
Fosters excellent cross-functional communications and integrates the work of managers to achieve business objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A Master’s degree preferably in IT or Computer Science
At least 10 years of experience in IT
Proven multiple years of experience in managing several projects at the same time
A proven track record in managing teams and managing stakeholders & customers as well as multiple partners/vendors for delivering IT solutions
Good knowledge of the Scaled Agile framework
Strong negotiation skills to define project agreements with external vendors
Experience with managing Project Delivery in a regulated environment leveraging standards and best practices
Excellent presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to give presentations to senior management
