Philips Digital Analytics Tagging and Validation Specialist in Bangalore, India


Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in adobe mobile app/website data tagging and validation

  • Expertise in creating and configuring report suites

  • Expertise in creating processing rules

  • Knowledge/ability to integrate third party tools like Branch to Adobe

  • Expertise in Adobe Analytics tools (Workspace/Ad hoc Analysis, Health Dashboard) required

  • Proficient in using mobile/web debugging tools for testing of tagging implementations

  • Good to have : experience with Adobe DTM data layer development in JavaScript; Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Practical problem solving, ability to identify and interpret patterns, trends and anomalies in data

  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Strong relationship-builder, outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Create a strong data governance framework, working in conjunction with data product managers, stakeholders and developers to define which data needs to be collected and suggest relevant KPIs, ensure that tracking codes are properly placed and functioning in web sites and mobile apps, and analytics tools are configured to easily report on the main metrics

  • Continuously improve our analytics implementation and ensure data is accurate and consistent and there is sufficient monitoring in place to spot any issues

  • Create a Data Capture Plan/Tag plan with the KPI requirements from the business

  • Brief the development teams (includes app developers, testers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters) to implement the analytics tags in their codes

  • Create report suites and processing rules for the implemented analytics tags

  • Validate tags using debugging tools like Charles/Fiddler and create a verification report with the results of validation (tags passed or failed)

  • Perform end to end QA (from testing the Adobe Analytics tags to running reports).

  • Create bugs and write test cases.

  • Partner with the reporting team to understand their reports and validate reporting.

  • Implement Adobe Analytics on assigned mobile properties to accurately capture desired data elements according to defined business needs; ensure that implementations are well-architected, efficient and scalable

  • Educate internal teams on analytics implementations, including any customization specific to their property, to empower them to use the resulting data in a self-service capacity

  • Ensure that implementations, integrations and practices adhere to Data & Technology Services standards; create and document standards and processes as appropriate

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to digital analytics tagging and integrations
