The EDI Officer will play a key role in this world class EDI organization. S/He has in depth knowledge and retains the historical knowledge of the EDI landscape and processes. S/he will work with external customers globally to ensure customers’ needs are met swiftly and with high quality. This role is a devops role which includes both new development in the SAP PO environment as well as supporting existing partners.
The EDI Officer is an individual contributor with strong EDI global experience on a team with other EDI Officers, EDI Demand Managers, Service Managers and Business Process Analysts. The role collaborates closely Philips Markets teams (IT and business), external customers, and other internal IT teams.
Overall accountability for EDI partner management. This includes end to end implementations, changes, and issue resolution
Requirements analysis and specifications
Change request management
Demand execution in SAP PO including development
Customer success management
Identify and implement improvements
Stay up to date on industry trends
Key competencies/knowledge/ experience
Have general knowledge of the large corporation IT landscapes.
In depth knowledge on the applications or application components of our EDI domain. This includes SAP PO 7.5, SAP PO 7.5 B2B add-on module, EDI components of SAP ERPs, SAP IDOCs and EDI standards such as ANSII X12 and EDIFACT, Seeburger Information Manager.
Experience with EDI transformation projects.
Expert in writing specifications; translating customer requirements into mapping specifications.
Experience with SAP PO EDI mapping (understanding and executing).
Strong understanding and experience with various compliance requirements and processes such as FDA validation.
Strong customer relationship management.
Strong communication skills.
Lean basic certification.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Familiar with DEVOPS concepts and their execution.
Experience with coaching technical/functional teams.
