Lead Consultant/Business Analyst (Marketing)
This role offers the opportunity to combine leadership, business acumen and technical expertise, to add value through analytics and insights to the Philips marketing teams all over the world. You will lead challenging, multidisciplinary data projects in a dynamic corporate environment, together with an international team.
In this role you coordinate the development of analytical applications, while also directly contributing to the project by providing essential business analyses.
As the lead consultant, you make sure that the team delivers high quality apps with a high grade of automation and a minimum of necessary maintenance efforts. Leading the project means aligning with global stakeholders to make a feasible, transparent planning and delivering as promised. You think and plan ahead, in order to identify opportunities and risks and act accordingly. Leading the project may also mean managing a number of people in their work.
In your role as business analyst in your projects, you translate business needs to clear, inspiring user stories, together with the Product Owner. You analyze business processes to provide the developers with the required information to transform data into information. You support the developers in creating intuitive, well-designed dashboards. In your projects, continuity and clear documentation is always an integral part of the solution.
Before and during the development, as well as after delivery, you proactively stay in contact with the stakeholders to inform and update them on the solution. To ensure that the delivered app is used to its fullest extent, you train stakeholders and users and help them with their questions. You regularly report progress and results to (senior) management.
Required work experience
Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business informatics, Econometrics, Technical Business Administration, etc.);
5+ years of experience as a business analyst, in a marketing related position;
3+ years of experience in working on data projects;
Experience with working in an agile environment, in a Scrum setting.

A strong analytical mindset and problem resolution skills;
Business acumen and articulation skills, the ability to capture business needs;
Knowledge of marketing concepts and models;
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present your project to stakeholders and senior management;
Ability to work together as a team player with technical and business resources;
An intrinsic motivation to stay updated on the latest developments in analytics and data modelling.
