The Technical Writing Team works closely with the BU R&D Team as well as the Project Management Office to deliver world class product documentation and educational content to the BU, Global Support Teams, Market field teams, and customers. Works closely with cross-functional organizations (i.e.: R&D, Marketing, Customer Service Centers, Professional Services, etc.) documenting features, functions, installation and configuration instructions, and help files. You will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of technical product data requires evaluation of identifiable factors, where the development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of product data writing principles, theories, and concepts. You will formulate the solution for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired knowledge. May lead multi-disciplinary change projects, managing a number of people. Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas. Introduces methods/procedures that are new for the organization. Applies advanced process principles to multiple tasks. Determines feasibility of concepts or projects.
You are responsible to:
Ensure that the required end-user documentation is written and delivered according to the project deadlines, thereby ensuring the planned product release.
Proactively and continuously collect all necessary information for documentation activities: input documents, organizing discussion/meetings with one or all of the following; application specialists, product management, product developers and other relevant subject matter experts (SME).
Transform the collected input effectively and efficiently into user (and/or) service documentation.
Proactively organize review of the written document(s) with disciplines involved, handle comments and obtain approval.
Perform editorial tasks, e.g. during peer reviews
Prepare the documents for translation/localization after documentation.
Create the master deliverables for final product delivery after receiving the final translated files
Create, maintain and communicate the overall (sub-) project plan.

This role will be based in Bangalore, India at the Bangalore Innovation Center.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have a BS in computer science, IT, Healthcare informatics, Marketing or the equivalent and have minimum of 5 years of experience:
Broad technical knowledge of products and clinical applications for healthcare informatics products.
Understanding of technologies such as: Information Systems Networks, Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Client Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems, Visual Studio, Active Directory, Relational Databases, VMWare, SAN technology, Citrix and tools for troubleshooting a variety of HW, SW and networking problems.
Structured authoring experience with the Adobe Suite of products
Excellent teamwork and project management skills
Self Starter and ability and desire to continuously learn.
Previous experience with PCA Products such as IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia, CompuRecord, or eCare Manager.
Strong command of the English Language
The following will be helpful but not required:
In Hospital experience with Clinical IT products – technical or clinical
Development engineering experience of clinical IT products
A clinical background (RN Certified)
