As a Software Development Manager, you will own the complete software development activities (Design, architecture, development /support and testing) of RWS from delivered from Bangalore R&D center.
You will become part of a dynamic, growing international group within Philips that delivers state-of-the-art technologies to apply to customers in the Radiology space.
You are responsible for
Managing processes related to product development and product lifecycle in accordance with Philips process frameworks and in close alignment with the global software development lead and product owner responsible for the products
Removing impediment for the progress of the teams across program increments
Mobilizing resources in scrum teams and general management of the team
Manage talent acquisition, development and retention
Understand competency requirements of the group and work with Global Software Development Lead to define a competency road map
Ensuring recruitment is as budgeted and competencies in the group are developed to meet current and future requirements
Acting as a change agent to drive mindset to achieve overall goals
Ensuring high levels of employee engagement
Ensuring on time, high quality of delivered results, including regulatory aspects by fostering automatic and manual testing during development and verification processes
Work with relevant vertical and horizontal stakeholders, like PMO, Product management, Services, other sub systems, etc. to drive and execute on the product vision
Play an integral role in driving the product vision by being part of the RWS leadership team
You are a part of
RWS (Radiology Workspace Solution) is a product aimed to intelligently manage the different radiology department workflows in terms of automatic exam reading assignment/prioritization, reading/reporting review workflow and providing a zero footprint client for the day-to-day radiologist worklist and department administrator tasks.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Total experience 14+ years of experience
Minimum 5 years of Project / program Management, demonstrating the ability to execute and manage outcome based projects
At least 10+ years of proven experience in Software Development including aspects such as development, testing, maintenance, etc.
4+ years managerial/leadership experience in product development and life cycle software development, including people development, resource management, budget management, knowledge management
Conceptual understanding and application of scaled agile framework
Knowledge in clinical information systems domain, product and customer perspectives
