Philips Mobile Architect in Bangalore, India
The Mobile Architect position sits within the IT Innovation team in the Architecture group of Philips IT. This position is required to set the Mobile technology strategy and future roadmap to ensure we enhance our tooling to be competitive and responsive to the latest trends/ changes in this space. The position will also be a key contact point for our different businesses in order to translate requirements into a clear architecture design. As well as being responsible to establish the mobile architecture guidelines and principles, implementing a strong foundation of modern architectural patterns for the mobile target architecture and creating a backlog together with the development team to deploy it. Working fully agile, this position will also play an essential role in steering the Mobile Development team based in Pune, India, to ensure that in each project, besides delivering the required business value, the mobile architecture moves forward in pragmatically.
Candidate we’re looking for:
Ability to translate business requirements into robust architecture designs, liaising and collaborating with other architects in other domains to manage integrations.
Agile / Lean experience ( Scrum , Kanban ) and the ability to apply this in App Development. Experience in Agile tooling (Jira, VSTS) will be a big plus.
Customer centricity – focusing on the needs to the user and understand how to maximize business value
Curiosity and ability to pick up various Business functions across Philips in Health Systems and Personal Health to grasp the right solution required, working always closely with the Philips Architecture team and aligning with the Philips Architecture guidelines.
Exposure and coding experience in one of the Mobile platforms (Android or iOS Platform or Hybrid App HTML5 technology
Ability to create and document Architecture Diagrams at high level, enough to align the development and the architecture teams.
Strong communication skills in order to be the central contact for business requirements/ questions
Cross functional team player, in order to bring multiple stakeholders together: including Architects, Developers, Business.
