Key areas of accountability
Building domain knowledge to get a deep understanding of markets and product portfolio.
Develop deep understanding of customer segments and customer pain points and develop customer insights
Based on the customer insights create a unique value proposition and an accompanying go-to-market strategy for each of the products
Define, implement, and maintain a portfolio of solutions that support the strategic roadmap for the segment based on existing products and the introduction of new products or features.
Responsible for life-cycle business of the existing products, including updates, pricing and obsolescence.
Conduct the necessary market research, including competitive and price analysis, to support the business case for the identified product opportunity.
Participate and act as marketing's primary advocate on cross functional development teams. Provide customer use-case examples to engineering and be the primary bridge between customer feedback and requirements and R&D.
Manage and maintain the catalogue and product pricing based on product roadmap and segment strategy.
Support regional marketing teams with new product introductions and the execution of the downstream marketing plan.
Supporting contact with customers and key markets, attend and support the organization of trade shows and symposia in order to use the acquired knowledge and insights to improve the current product portfolio and define new competitive products.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Masters degree/MBA in marketing. With 7-10 yrs of work experience.
•Understanding the segment clinical domain and the dynamics in healthcare driving the business segment.
• Customer focus, good communication skills and a drive for results
• Talented and flexible individual with strong presentation skills, adapt business knowledge
• Organizational abilities of working with cross functional teams at all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
