Philips Senior Specialist I - System Engineer in Bangalore, India

At the same time, a rich repository of data collected over time and from thousands of individual data points enables organizations to find patterns and insights to take on larger challenges in care delivery across entire populations.

You are responsible for

  • Overall technical leadership and responsible for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high level product design, check and optimize integration and verification

  • System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to HW/SW element and part level and related traceability.

  • Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.

  • Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.

You are a part of

HSOP (Health Suite On-Premise) is now part of HSDP with the focus of providing a secured and hardened IT platform, including hardware, selected backing services and basic software services to host and run business applications and services on Customer premises. HSOP assures the hosting platform and hosted software continuously work properly by providing managed services like deploying, provisioning, configuring, running, monitoring, patching, updating, backup& recovery, scaling etc. HSOP enables delivery of continuous innovation to the installed base at affordable costs by providing Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline to deploy business Applications on top of the provisioned platform.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 9-12 years of overall experience

  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring, administrating and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX/Linux based environments.

  • Solid networking knowledge with the ability to design network topologies with excellent hands-on troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience in identifying the right BOM covering suitable server models with right computing resources, network requirements, storage etc.

  • Experience with virtualization and containerization domain (e.g., VMware, Dockers etc.)

  • Excellent working experience with multiple vendors to effectively communicate the requirements and proactively driving activities to closure

  • Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWS

  • Experience with infrastructure automation software’s (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)

  • Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Python)

  • Experience with building and managing monitoring systems
