Summary Description:

Within the scope of Technical Communications, Information Architect 60 performs as the lead for researching, implementing and maintaining software and associated structures for creation of user documentation.

This person must have an understanding of information architecture as it relates to the development of documentation. This includes working knowledge of current tools to allow for customization of servers, software and structuring to best accommodate safe and compliant storage, versioning, and appropriate access to materials.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and manage (parts of) the authoring tools to ensure stability during use.

  • Monitor the existing technical infrastructure for possible improvements or necessary changes, in order to keep the infrastructure aligned with the requirements of the business applications and to maintain security at all times.

  • Manage the validation of Technical Communications’ authoring tools.

  • Manage the development and implementation of new authoring tools, in order to maintain alignment with industry standards.

  • Train the team and structure work processes, in line with corporate guidelines, in order to ensure that they are equipped to meet current and future business challenges.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • BA in English or related Communications Field.

  • 10+ years of relevant Technical Communications experience.

  • 3+ years of relevant Software development experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • More than10 years of related work experience

  • Understanding of documentation localization

Skills :

  • Able to collaborate with team members in group and one-on-one settings.

  • Self-determination of objectives on new assignments and requires little day-to-day guidance.

  • Displays good time management skills, with continuous improvements and focus on estimations and meeting deadlines

  • Learns quickly and can figure out things for themselves when in-house expertise is not available.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills as well as being a motivated team player.

  • Must have understanding of project fundamentals, including task planning and estimation.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure.

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at once.

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

You will be part The CT business unit at PIC which has complete end-to-end responsibility globally for Roadmap, Requirements, Design, Development and Verification of the CT HOST subsystem which includes Console, Service Tools, Security and Simulators & Automation Frameworks. The team works collaboratively with other sub-system and product platform teams based in our partner sites in Cleveland, Haifa and Suzhou.

You are responsible for:
