We can do this through making the diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, treatment and follow up a more efficient, predictive and accurate process. Philips will be able to gain competitive advantage by providing its market leading Treatment planning capabilities and related clinical applications / solutions to customers, collaborators and even competitors.

Radiotherapy treatment planning systems are at the heart of radiation therapy (RT) systems and the key to improve cancer patient’s treatment outcomes by generating high-quality treatment plans. Philips Pinnacle3 treatment RT planning system has a 20 + year reputation for performance, reliability, accuracy and quality of treatment plans, reduces planning and re-planning time.

RadOnc team at PIC has successfully completed several Pinnacle3 releases over the last 8 years e.g. Proton planning, Dynamic Planning, Auto-planning, IMPT and next steps for Dose optimization.

Here at the Radiation Oncology business we are building a differentiated portfolio of simulation scanners and dose planning software to provide an automated Image to Plan (I2P) process that will enable patients and their healthcare providers to start treatment faster, more accurately and then adapt as the therapy process progresses.

RadOnc team in Bangalore is realizing this ambition by defining and driving the next generation platform and development of oncology adjacencies leveraging HealthSuite on Premise Platform

You are responsible for:

  • Analyzes and understands the Software/Functional Requirements Specification

  • Contributes to development of Features/User stories for complex modules

  • Provides technical guidance in a technical, functional/domain area, Participates in all key technical decisions

  • Creates (detailed) design within specified top level design/architecture

  • Defines and implements key functional and non-functional aspects in the program.

  • Participates in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables

  • Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities

  • Manages technical communication with stake holders

  • Having Agile mindset, Self-empowered works towards Continual improvement

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • B.E/B.Tech/MCA with 2 - 4 years of experience in in product development

  • Hands - on experience in C#, .NET application

  • Knowledge of OOPS, OOAD concepts, Design patterns

  • Experience in Test Driven Development

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Details oriented, Quality conscious with ability to multitask

  • Quick learner and Good team player

  • Displays positive attitude
