Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Requirements, Design, implementation, test and integration of his software module in accordance with the SW Unit Requirement and - Design specifications.

  • Ensures that his software is reliable, efficient, easy to maintain, and user-friendly.

  • Ensures that there is proper documentation for the developed SW.

  • Performs work in line with the SW engineering processes that have been agreed in the department.

  • Understands and communicates consequences of his/her design on higher level designs.

  • Maintains software by solving problems and implementing changes.

  • Draws up personal schedule and reports on progress.

  • Contributes to the Work Breakdown Structure/ the planning process of his/her area.

  • Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts.

Job Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Experience in modern software engineering methods, tools, and processes.

  • Experience in working in teams.

  • Bachelor degree in software engineering or other relevant discipline (with SW training).

  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art in programming and design methods & tools (e.g. UML, Real Time Design).

  • 3+ years of Experience with programming languages C/C++ (Some) knowledge and understanding of other disciplines with which co‑operation takes place.

  • Knowledge of a specific area of SW technology or product feature.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Disciplined team worker, to work independently and act pro-actively.

  • Analytical, creative, and abstract thinker.

  • Accurate and quality minded.

You will be part of IGT systems is the leading innovator in image guided interventional solutions. Key focus area is to move from X-ray based systems to disease specific interventional suite, gain leadership interventional applications.

You are responsible for:
