You are responsible for:
Responsible for the Unit Testing activities
Responsible for the creation of the Test Strategy and Plan.
Supports in test estimation, planning and risk management activities
Performs the role of a Specialist by ensuring the consistency and efficient integration of the separate modules/features of software that meets the Subsystem specification.
Performs the role of a Requirements Engineer by analysing and understanding the Functional Requirements Specification for testability
Owns and manages the testing activities for back end.
Participates in process tailoring
Aware of at least 2 formal estimation techniques
Automation tooling experience to enhance productivity.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Able to interact with partners on need basis.
Should have an inclination for understanding the field deployment scenarios.
Should have flair in interoperability testing and should have performed IO Verification and proficient with the IO testing tools.
Able to analyze the requirements and derive the Test Designs.
Generating Test Procedures and assisting in test planning.
Good knowledge on white box/Black box testing and techniques
Understanding of Test life cycle methodologies
Defect life cycle experience
Report test results and enters problems and issues into the defect database- monitors and updates defects as needed including defect closure.
Ability to work with the cross functional team, track and monitor and provide status updates
Completes assigned test-related tasks on time as an individual contributor.
Prior experience with the Product verification – Added advantage.
Experience in using tools like, Clear Quest, Caliber and Quality Center.
Good knowledge on DICOM and IHE
Good Knowledge of Usability Testing
Effective Communication skills
Quick Learner with ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance.
