Radiotherapy treatment planning systems are at the heart of radiation therapy (RT) systems and the key to improve cancer patient’s treatment outcomes by generating high-quality treatment plans. Philips Pinnacle3 treatment RT planning system has a 20 + year reputation for performance, reliability, accuracy and quality of treatment plans, reduces planning and re-planning time.
RadOnc team at PIC has successfully completed several Pinnacle3 releases over the last 8 years e.g. Proton planning, Dynamic Planning, Auto-planning, IMPT and next steps for Dose optimization.
Here at the Radiation Oncology business we are building a differentiated portfolio of simulation scanners and dose planning software to provide an automated Image to Plan (I2P) process that will enable patients and their healthcare providers to start treatment faster, more accurately and then adapt as the therapy process progresses.
RadOnc team in Bangalore is realizing this ambition by defining and driving the next generation platform and development of oncology adjacencies leveraging HealthSuite on Premise Platform
You are responsible for:
Understand E2E solution, deployment and integration scenarios and participate in design decisions
Analyze and incorporate functional and non-functional requirements
Translate customer and software requirements to design and implement complete solutions
Identify and resolve technical risks through quick prototypes and agile methodologies / tools
Review and ensure quality of deliverables
Good understanding of SAFe Agile methodology for estimation & Execution process
Understand the clinical needs from a user perspective (in the context of how the application is being used)
Guide/mentor junior team members in the implementation of the solutions
Lead and participate in design & code reviews
Review the work products and provide constructive feedback
Proactively contribute to quality improvement initiatives through continuous integration, code quality, adoption of best agile practices
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
B.E/B.Tech/MCA with 5 - 9 years of experience in in product development
Hands - on experience in C#, .NET/C++ programming
Knowledge of OOPS, OOAD concepts, Design patterns
Linux/Unix Experience preferred
Hands on in python and REST web services
Python (Python Flask is a plus), REST API development
Experience in Test Driven Development
