You will be part of Digital Pathology Solutions is one of the Emerging Businesses in Philips. Digitization in Pathology addresses several challenges in Cancer care - Confident diagnosis, personalized therapies and efficient delivery.
The Philips IntelliSite pathology solution consists of an advanced slide scanner, an image management system, a suite of tools (including a collaboration suite) for the pathologist. To support high-volume pathology labs, the IntelliSite Ultra-Fast Scanner (UFS) scans all slides at high resolution (0.25 µm), providing visibility at a cellular detail. A single slide can be scanned in 60 seconds at 40x equivalent for 15mm x 15mm scan area.
Philips Digital Pathology Solutions has acquired the CE mark for diagnosis of routine pathology and recently the first and only Digital Pathology solution to be awarded the FDA certification for diagnostic use in the US.
There is ongoing research on computational pathology tools which use AI and machine learning to provide decision support and improve accuracies in cancer diagnostics and ultimately enhancing patient care.
The team at PIC is developing a Data Lake solution to address the data needs for computational pathology. The team is further gearing up on Radiology-Pathology integration initiative to increase clinical and operational efficiency thereby improving patient care. We are also responsible for development of Utilization Suite for performance monitoring and management of DPS products.

You are responsible for:
Contributes to and reviews program vision, roadmap and content presentations.
Prepares and participates in release planning, contributes to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation / prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog.
Drafts the team’s specific objectives for the program increment •
Defines iterations and stories for the team(s).
Builds, edits, reviews and reprioritizes the team(s) backlog coordinating dependencies with other POs •
Has the primary responsibility for maintaining the story flow, possibly embedded in the agile team(s).
Defines stories and provides input for user story details and priorities, establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories into the baseline / the final iteration plan.
Supports team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing. Facilitates and leads sprint planning and grooming sessions
Define functional and non-functional requirements as well as the user interface.
Coordinates with other product owners on content dependencies •
Manages content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers •
Facilitates inter-team dependencies in the respective sprints •
Participates in team demo and retrospectives.
Work with other product owners to produce the system demo, delivers system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
7 – 10 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in defining PI backlog for Software Products
Prior hands on software development experience of commercially released products is desired
Should have a strong knowledge of Agile/SAFe way of working
Hands on experience working with agile planning tools like TFS
Good facilitation skills and stakeholder management skill
Must be able to very clearly articulate (both written and oral) the expectations to the stakeholders
Knowledge of healthcare domain, digital pathology domain experience (preferable)
