Philips Software Technologist II in Bangalore, India


You are responsible for

  • Responsible for design, implementation, unit testing and maintenance of high quality software components

  • Focus on full-stack web app. development - front-end and server side

  • Stay attuned to contemporary trends in web development and technology spaces and influence the product through the same

  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices in a SCRUM environment

  • Adhere to development processes including code reviews, design reviews and coding guidelines

  • Create and maintain software documentation

  • Focus on maximizing unit test code-coverage to improve code quality early in the development life cycle

  • Ability to interface with service on customer support team to analyze and resolve field issues quickly and pass it on to the install base team for further work if required

You are a part of

RWS (Radiology Workspace Solution) is a product aimed to intelligently, manage the different radiology department workflows in terms of automatic exam reading assignment/prioritization, reading/reporting review workflow and providing a zero footprint client for the day-to-day radiologist worklist and department administrator tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience ·

  • BS or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with 6+ years of Software Development Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working with Object Oriented JavaScript

  • Expertise in Angular 2.0+ is required

  • Expertise in C#, Java and C++ is required

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with web/mobile enterprise applications development using modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular/Dojo to develop HTML5/CSS3 applications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience developing APIs and RESTful services using .NET framework and SQL Server

  • Experience using design patterns for designing platform independent (IOS, Android, Microsoft), secure, highly available and scalable solutions

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise software applications using Scrum methodologies

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills

  • Medical domain knowledge of DICOM, HL7, PACS, Dictation Systems, EMR, etc. preferred

  • Proven working experience in Agile or SAFe environment

  • Experience with DevOps will be a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
