I maging C linical A pplications and P latform (ICAP) is a global organization that aims to be the market leader of innovative medical imaging clinical solutions that improve patient care and empower our customers. The vision of ICAP is being realized via development of a next generation unified platform for Philips Healthcare Imaging Systems and a world class, enterprise-wide, multi-modality portal solution providing rich clinical and advanced visualization applications.

You are responsible for

  • Responsible for analyzing and understanding requirements

  • Design and implement the requirements in collaborating with Clinical Application Specialists and Architects

  • Promotes Software craftsmanship in the team.

  • Performs detailed design, coding, code reviews, testing and all related documentation for a project

  • Provides technical guidance to the team in technical/functional area of key modules

  • Identifying and resolving technical risks proactively

  • Manages technical communication with stakeholders

  • Ensure deliverables are on time and of high quality

  • Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities

  • Unit tests the components developed and reviews other’s implementation

  • Understand the clinical needs from a user perspective (in the context of how the application is being used)

You are a part of

IntelliSpace Portal is a powerful thin-client solution for advanced image review, and analysis. It offers the flexibility to diagnose and collaborate virtually anywhere. It’s an integrated clinical solution that’s multispecialty, multimodality and multivendor. This product has 1st in KLAS rating consecutively to its credit.

Application development team in PIC is the largest application development team in ICAP and is responsible for end-to-end development of applications, from clinical definition to architecture, design, development, verification and clinical validation.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Software Engineer with strong academics of about 6 to 10 years

  • In depth experience in C#.NET based windows application development and usage of WCF, WPF

  • Strong Object Oriented development and design knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of design patterns and practical application of same

  • Expertise in Desktop applications, winforms, WPF/WCF is desirable

  • Expertise in development, testing and debugging skills

  • Strong abstraction, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Preferable to have DICOM and regulatory awareness
