You will be part The CT Host platform is owned out of PIC, Bangalore which is the Software Power House for the CT R&D. With 80+ strong engineers spread across Project Management, System Engineering, Software Architecture and Development and V&V, the team is growing further big way to support the delivery commitments to our strong Roadmap and Product Pipeline. The team works collaboratively with global sites in US/Cleveland, Israel/Haifa and China/Suzhou. We are looking for Software Technologist I & Software Technologist II in strengthening our Test automation & Simulator development team.

2018 is aimed to be a very exciting year of progress and growth for CT business where in we have lined up host of releases such as Refresh, Next Generation Console, BB Rails, Vereos, Falcon to name a few.

You are responsible for:

  • Develop functional requirements for the HOST subsystem based on decomposition of system level requirements.

  • Interface to the program level core-team for feature definition, interface definition with other subsystems/platforms.

  • Translate workflow and other clinical needs into subsystem requirements and work-packages.

  • Contribute in prototyping / concept development for new features / functionality working with platform (Clinical Science, Physics and Marketing) team.

  • Support investigation & root cause analysis for defects and impact analysis for RFCs in owned feature areas

  • Support development team in feature realization & Project manager / integrator in execution & feature integration

  • Support verification by reviewing test plan (scoping), test protocols and test results

  • Perform requirement analysis for owned feature/ program & provide high-level design

  • Support project management in estimation, planning, risk management and execution of the work-packages.

  • Responsible for the delivering clear feature requirements to the design team

  • Identify & drive Requirements FMEA for owned features

  • Ensure that performance / non-functional requirements are defined and addressed by teams

Succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of development experience in medical imaging related products and applications.

  • Good knowledge of medical software and imaging with a background in X-ray, CT or AMI is preferred

  • Hands on knowledge on SW Application development, system design and requirements management.

  • Good communication skills. Ability to present technical / complex issues to various audiences.

  • Excellent technical writing skills.

  • Growing technical leadership competencies in matrix / global environment

  • Ability to influence peers and counterparts often in remote locations

  • Strong abstraction, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Awareness of object oriented design concepts and interface design.

  • Exposure to healthcare standards (DICOM, HL7 & IHE) and regulations.

  • Exposure to SDLC Phases and SW quality standards and processes (Six-sigma).

Relevant System Engineering background and experience in CT-AMI domain would be preferred.
