Be part of Philips and their newly acquired Remote Diagnostic Technologies (RDT) business, a UK-based leading innovator of advanced solutions for the pre-hospital market providing monitoring, cardiac therapy and data management. RDT’s portfolio of comprehensive connected emergency care solutions will complement Philips’ Therapeutic Care business and strengthen its leadership position in the EUR 1.4 billion resuscitation and emergency care market. Moreover, RDT will strengthen Philips’ ability to innovate, drive digital transformation in healthcare, and enter new markets.
Philips already offers a range of proven monitoring and therapeutic products and solutions to help emergency medical services, hospitals and lay responders accelerate the delivery of care at the scene. This offering includes automated external defibrillators (AEDs), advanced life support monitors, and data management solutions. RDT will complement this with a product range for ambulance and emergency responders, which includes Tempus ALS, a modularized monitor and defibrillator that offers premium functionality in a smaller, lighter and more flexible package. RDT also offers highly robust, yet lightweight monitors equipped with telecommunication capabilities for various emergency responders.

You are responsible for:
Being part of the post-merger integration team and support them in identifying, planning, and executing on operations optimization and industrial footprint projects
Co -responsible with the Integration Operations Lead for the creation of a lean operation and industrial footprint strategy and roadmap
Leads the operations process optimization execution
Manages & provides direction for executing operations optimization and synergy projects within the industrial footprint and integration strategy
You are the linking pin between the business and the Operations implementation team, driving change management within the RDT organization
Controls the budget, project progress, evaluates the project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and makes valuable contributions, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting towards the Operations Integration lead and business lead.
Effectively implements the Philips transition process management approach for a portfolio of projects: concept, modeling, planning, execution, and closure stages.
Co -responsible for industrial development as part of the integration operations strategy; optimization of industrial footprint, CAPEX definition, layout, internal flows
Participate in the development of Make or Buy and second sourcing strategy in accordance with Purchasing, integration operations strategy and Philips global operations strategy
Responsible to optimize HSE and ergonomic convergence
You are part of
In this job you report directly to the Operations Integration Lead, supporting the overall operations integration project, being responsible for the project management and part of the overall business integration program consisting of over 10 sub work streams.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's degree Engineering/Business or related discipline, or equivalent; Master’s degree a plus
Significant experience leading operation optimization and synergy programs such as site startups, new product launches, other business improvements
Project Management, Problem solving & Conflict Management skills, Customer focus
Solid in Equipment/Tooling specifications, GD&T, P-FMEA and Control Plan
Knowledge of medical device manufacturing and quality management systems required
Strong and demonstrated passion for Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing (One-piece flow, SMED, KANBAN, HOSHIN workshop, etc.) Green belt / black belt certified
