In this role you have the opportunity to:
Be able to disassemble and reassemble electronic the medical device to inspect the internal build quality of the electronic/electrical and mechanical design aspects of the
You are responsible for:
Goods inwards inspection and functional testing of products and goods into stores
Perform Goods Inwards activities & supporting paperwork checks (CofC, Purchase Order etc.) in
accordance with quality processes
Inspect partially and fully completed assemblies to engineering requirements
Raise and report noncompliance issues, non-conforming product detected at the goods-in stage and
support production detected non-conformities
Collation and analysis of goods inwards inspection and nonconforming product data to support
trending analysis on quality issues and performance metrics
Development/creation of inspection instructions, work instructions and other quality documents
Setting up tests and investigations to verify the performance of RDT’s products as directed by
Collating results from tests and entering them into reports
You are a part of:
Philips new, exciting acquisition: RDT are a leading innovator of advanced solutions for the pre-hospital market providing monitoring, cardiac therapy and data management.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Experience of Quality engineering, Quality Inspection and Quality Control
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction or technical environment or similar
Practical mechanical skills and familiarity with handling electronic assemblies including electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions
Experience of electro-mechanical assemblies and/or devices manufacturing
Experience in either quality engineering of whole/finished electronic devices
PC literate. Experienced in Office 365 and internet applications
Ability to record tests performed, their setup, results found etc. in a structured, ordered and timely manner
