Philips Product Training Specialist in Basingstoke, United Kingdom

Philips Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Product trainer to join our Emergency Care and Resuscitation (ECR) team. This team provides User and Train-the-Trainer training to the worldwide end user/customer.

In this role, you have the opportunity to be responsible for the delivery of User and Train-the-Trainer (T3) training courses to RDT’s specialist user markets.

To include co-ordination, delivery, and post training follow ups to users both pre and post sales, Philips markets, distributors, and internal staff.

To assist the International Training Manager on the maintenance of all training material to support the delivery of training.

The salary is in the region of £30,000 - £35,000 but we could pay more. This role also comes with a Car Allowance/Company Car, Annual Bonus and a highly competitive benefits package

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Providing feedback to the business and marketing management with information on application system performance, competitors’ products, customer reactions and sales arguments.

  • Drive continuous improvement of products, service and support strategies.

  • Assist on the delivery of initial service training for worldwide field service and customer solution/support centre personnel.

  • Support the development of other technical documentation.

  • Evaluate repair, complaint and call information and provide feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing for corrective action or further investigation

  • Lead and drive business teams to implement supportability improvements.

  • work closely with Sales Managers, Account Managers and Project Managers to offer a first-class service to our existing customers. Your Profile

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a pre-hospital (civilian or military) environment, e.g. Emergency Care Assistant or equivalent, Military medic.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a training role where they have delivered product usage and/or maintenance training to clinical users in the medical device industry – ideally, monitoring and defibrillation

  • Proven knowledge and / or experience working with medical devices

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills

  • Effective time management

  • Clinically astute with the ability to provide a credible training program to end-users

  • Full UK driving license

  • Flexibility to travel up to 60-70% within the UK and Ireland and overseas

  • Self-starter, very motivated with proven ability to work with colleagues and alone, to deliver high quality of training

  • Highly computer literate with excellent presentation and communication skills, outlook, word, PowerPoint
