Be part of Philips and their newly acquired Remote Diagnostic Technologies (RDT) business, a UK-based leading innovator of advanced solutions for the pre-hospital market providing monitoring, cardiac therapy and data management. RDT’s portfolio of comprehensive connected emergency care solutions will complement Philips’ Therapeutic Care business and strengthen its leadership position in the EUR 1.4 billion resuscitation and emergency care market. Moreover, RDT will strengthen Philips’ ability to innovate, drive digital transformation in healthcare, and enter new markets.
Philips already offers a range of proven monitoring and therapeutic products and solutions to help emergency medical services, hospitals and lay responders accelerate the delivery of care at the scene. This offering includes automated external defibrillators (AEDs), advanced life support monitors, and data management solutions. RDT will complement this with a product range for ambulance and emergency responders, which includes Tempus ALS, a modularized monitor and defibrillator that offers premium functionality in a smaller, lighter and more flexible package. RDT also offers highly robust, yet lightweight monitors equipped with telecommunication capabilities for various emergency responders.
You are responsible for:
The upstream marketing activities for the IntelliSpace Corsium product/solutions, including definition of the strategy and its enablers as well as its alignment with key markets globally
Upstream marketing activities for the products/solutions, including definition of the strategy and its enablers as well as its alignment with key markets globally
Value proposition development based on customer insights, including Health Economics for lead markets, Portfolio, Product & Clinical claims roadmaps, Pricing (Price setting) and margin optimization
Channel Strategy for assigned product portfolio & Compliance with Quality & Regulatory requirements (where applicable)
Drive definition, development and introduction of the products/solutions, including cross-business solution development to our customers by meeting their needs, including service and consumables
Lifecycle management and market readiness as part of PDLM. Ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)
P&L responsible for Product and/or Solutions development of the business case to support new value creation
Customer and Market Insights: Analyze the market, the competition, and trends on enterprise level across segment technologies to ensure the portfolio is leading the market’s needs and expectations Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation requirements (across global markets and supported by Market Intelligence)
Translate in-depth market and customer insights, as well as competitive analyses into winning concepts/ clear product specifications for the release train, in such a way that in short, mid and long term a sound business result can be achieved
Guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment
You are a part of:
The RDT team, reporting into the Product Marketing team. This position will be based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
A demonstrable track record in product management
Evidence of Value Proposition development
Creation of Value based pricing strategies
Project management and change management experience
Knowledge of the pre-hospital market
