In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive sales revenue in the high visibility and critically important China Market. This role will be part of the newly formed Philips Neuro business unit which is focused on delivering more definitive diagnoses and better therapy guidance in patients suffering from some of the most challenging and impactful neurologic disorders including Epilepsy, Stroke, TBI, etc. Our business unit is part of the Emerging Business group which acts as a new business incubator inside of the larger Philips HealthTech umbrella. We have an unrelenting focus on driving innovation from scientific research to clinical solutions. The group has both a strong scientific research group and a product development team that will translate the research innovation work into meaningful product introductions, new market developments, and transform the way neurology is done today. We require dynamic and highly motivated commercial Leader in China to build a leadership position in both clinical and research based neuro mapping and guidance.
Your responsibilities include:
Manage the sales function in the Market to maximize sales, market locally and drive CFDA for assigned portfolio, across the entire region.
Develop clear and achievable growth/sales strategies, objectives and tactical plans based on segmentation, customer needs / customer centricity and market conditions
Establish key sales commercial and operations plans including processes and strategies for: distribution, contracting, business planning, sales comp., forecasting, budgeting, and KPI selection.
Contributes to marketing plan: market opportunity analysis, competitive analysis, product prices and sales priorities, and responsible for price realization
Has the authority and accountability to negotiate contracts and prices within the limits of the sales plan and sales policy
Gains and maintains market information and knowledge in order to grow to targeted market shares across the sub segments
Ensure un-compromised implementation of the standard Philips business processes, quality standards and standards of business conduct according to Philips policies
Responsible for compliance performance within the district and for reporting compliance issues quality & regulatory functions (for management review purposes).
Develop and leverage win-win alliances and partnerships within the greater Philips organization
Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, key hospital stakeholders, and strategic partners
Effectively communicate value and vision to customers while simultaneously enlisting customers to partner with Philips to change neurology care; viewed as a leader by customers.
Responsible for sales and commercial partnership with customers in a country or market
Responsible for creation and implementation of the sales strategy and the Sales Plan, including sales forecasts, and AOP
Leads sales team (Sales Specialists in the markets), working closely with account managers, operations and marketing and services in the market, as well as other functions (e.g Finance, BT, Q&R, etc) in the Market
Manages pipeline of talents for the organization, and build capabilities in the organization
Optimizes organization for speed & costs
An opportunity to work with Philips Neuro, an emerging business unit that is focused on “Better Science, Better Care”. This group will drive the thought leadership for integration of AI and Neuroscience to develop new ways to measure/monitor and treat. It brings world class technologies in High Density EEG, and multimodal analysis with Medical Imaging modalities (i.e., MRI/CT) and delivers solutions that will have a direct impact on patient care. We are looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA Preferred
10+ years of relevant experience with solid track record in sales and management of large market
Experience leading sales in medical device markets with focus on clinical market
Basic understanding of CFDA
Experience Working in multi-channel (direct/indirect) environment, ecommerce
Experience in matrix organizations, and cross-functional experience
