  • Providing a first class level of service and support to all customers via email, ticket or telephone support for both hosted and deployed customers.

  • Assisting with updating website content inside the PathXL content management system.

  • Setting up computer systems (both hardware and software) internally and on customer sites.

  • Identifying possible causes of breakdown of systems and/or hardware.

  • Providing technical support for both hardware and software for PathXL staff

  • Support, document and backup Product documentation

  • Storage of master copies of software; backing up master copies where appropriate; keeping master copies of all relevant literature regarding software.

  • Maintenance of hardware and cables.

  • Ensuring that all Platform uites are fully functional, tidy and are organised and maintained in a safe working condition.

  • Provide administration support for PathXL Services team

  • Support and manage other value added services or projects PathXL offer to customers and partners.

  • Any other reasonable duties as required by Management

An opportunity has arisen to work as a Customer Service Engineer within the innovative and rapidly growing Belfast team. Working with your colleagues to provide a first class level of service and technical support to all global customers of PathXL products. For both hosted and deployed customers you will respond to queries via email, ticket or telephone as well as assisting with internal IT systems and V&V Testing.

Your responsibilities

Your team

This position sits within a collaborative team of 4 and reports into the Service Manager.

• Strong IT skills

• Excellent communicator and telephone manner at all levels of business

• Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to a wide range of audiences

• Highly motivated and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Well organised with good attention to detail

• 3 years’ experience within a software testing roll
