Philips Technical Support Engineer in Belgium - Remote Based, Belgium


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be responsible for providing product technical support to the presales marketing and regulatory registrations. The Technical Support Engineer is also responsible for conforming to the company Quality System procedures.

You are responsible for

  • Providing both technical support as well as “hotshot” demonstration capabilities, traveling for the sales team as needed;

  • Providing technical support for the local regulatory registration applications;

  • Ensuring aftersales technical in-depth support per customer’s requests;

  • Coordinating with Senior Support Engineer to prepare and lead product workshops, assignments to designated Application Development Teams, backing up Senior Support Engineer for temporary senior level support assignments and other duties as assigned.

You are a part of

Global team of Technical Sales Support Representative reports to the Asia Regional Manager and dash-line supervised by Training and Technical Support Manager at Philips Neuro-diagnose & Therapy on technical support related jobs.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A four year science/engineering degree is required, a master degree in neuroscience/engineering or equivalent academic experience is preferred.

  • Able to read and understand technical and non- technical documents in English, maintain familiarity with the performance characteristics of highly technical products, and be able to interface with and train customers and technical and non-technical PCI-Neuro personnel.

  • Able to understand the basic scientific theories and methodologies associated to the popular applications of the products that PCI-Neuro sells.

  • A minimum of three years experience as a Support Engineer (I and II) equivalence is required.

  • Mastery of all Support Engineer II equivalent skills must be shown.

  • Previous experience of tech supporting CFDA registration is desired.

  • Previous technical teaching, training and product demonstration experiences on EEG and/or Eye tracking products are preferred.

  • A modest programming skill is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in English reading, writing and listening comprehensions.

  • Willing to travel up to 90% of the time (in Europe).
